An early American pattern glass etched Heron or Stork compote.
The compote is 7 1/2" high and about 6 1/4" in diameter. The compote has a scene of 2 heron's in a marsh setting. The bottom section shows two birds eating. The lid has one very small flea bite on the lip. Otherwise there are no cracks or chips. Very hard to find item. From around the 1880's.
