This is an original vintage majolica plate in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Has some minor face wear in spots which is normal for these items. The plate measures about 8" in diameter. The plate shows in the center on a dark green background a germany style hat and jacket, harp and a tree with a bird, the pink boarder show a classic foral design. The back is mark V&B S for Vileroy & Boch. Made in Germany. Probably from around the 1910's or 20's.
