A majolica plate in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Small wear spot on the face of plate.
The plate shows 2 gnomes or elves, one has a leaf in hand. Also has a flying insect.
The plate has a olive green boarder with flowers and an aqua green center.
The plate is from around the 1890's.
The plate is 7 3/4" in diameter. The bottom of the plate is V&B S for Villeroy & Boch Sohn.
Plate is German. Hard series of plates to find.
