The wire basket has no rust or broken pieces.
The basket is all handmade, probably by a farmer or homemaker around the 1890's.
The plate has a gnome reading a book. The plate has no chips or cracks in it.
The basket measures 4 1/4" in diameter and 2" highs. The plate is 3" in diameter.
Plate is probably German, purchased while in Germany.
